Riftbound is a mostly linear gay furry visual novel, including NSFW content, set in a medieval fantasy world where rifts tear through reality, unleashing chaotic effects.
The story follows a group of three idiots united by a common goal: uncovering the truth about the rifts and their impact on the world. Together, they navigate treacherous guild politics and perhaps flirt with a few shady characters along the way. As they progress, they’ll discover hidden strengths, unexpected friendships, and many reasons to reconsider their life choices.
Riftbound is lovingly crafted by two passionate developers: Lou, 18, the writer and programmer, and Som, 18, the writer and artist. This project is a labor of love that reflects our shared dedication to creating a unique and immersive experience.
Riftbound is still in its early stages, with the first four days of the story currently available. While it’s a work in progress, we’re eager to hear your feedback and thoughts to help shape its future.

I really LOVE the new update and such! It was very nice to read! First i´ve done Boreal´s route: It was wonderful and a bit of tragic... and smexy! <3
Than I tried to get into Thistle´s route: It was a lil bit more tragic than boreal but i got some smirks there too,, cant wait for more of that cute fella! (I really thought I could spend time in his room with him as we got back.. but nvm! I hope to see more of him!)
Do you thought about setting up a Discord server for this vn? Just for some feedback or discussions or something like that..

Thank you for your interest in Riftbound! We originally hadn't planned on releasing an Android version, as this is our first visual novel and we're still in the process of mastering the basics. However, we appreciate your feedback, and we're open to exploring the possibility of releasing an Android version in the near future.

All in all, its really good! I enjoy the story so far. Your writing is top notch. the art especially for the sprites are wonderful too. Can't wait for more!

Its a great place of resources for VN Developers. There are many of them which can help you become a better developer as am sure they are willing to share their experiences & gives you some tips. You can also search for specific people with talents like artist/musician/proofreader/editor/programmer etc.
Overall, there's a lot of helpful people and a nice atmosphere. I hope you will enjoy the server & wishing you luck for the future & how the next update will pan out!
i havent played yet but ive got it in my list can you put windows and linux tags people using the itch.io launcher cant download it and the reason i say liniux is that steamdeck can run windows but at the moment i cant download it due to the tag not there
oh my god I loved the story, I especially liked the sexy dragon ~ and hot ~ it was a good idea to have three different points of view on three different characters
Well honestly the main character and the characters OK the environment I like the story the writing OK the only thing I can say I can just give an idea, a little animation and maybe play with the effects of light and perhaps with audio sounds to add sound in the game^^
Really enjoy whats written so far, will definitely love seeing it progressed.

Of course! I do think the story has an interesting concept though obv we're still early in the vn. I did notice in the convo between dane and thistle they had commented on the pay and how folks avoid the rifts twice which made me think i had accidentally scrolled back lol. And as another had commented, stuff like sound effects definitely does wonders to help with immersion which could be something worth looking into.
I am curious though, especially it being a mostly linear vn and noticing the romance tag, is there romanceable routes? Or is it more story focused

As for the romance, yes, we’re working on incorporating romantic routes, and we’re even thinking about including an affection system to make the relationships more interactive and dynamic. There’s still a lot to come, and we hope the romance elements add a special layer to the story as it progresses!
I think that all sounds like a good idea, will definitely enjoy seeing those features included and seeing how the romance will be included.
